Majestic Series
The Majestic is synonymous with musical
realism.
In the words of a recent customer:
I
have been absolutely entranced by my new Majestics - so much so that I'm even
reluctant to turn the system off to go to bed at night, let alone concentrate on
other matters! The name given to this speaker is perfectly chosen and that
becomes clear immediately. They are at once exquisitely revealing but
gently so, powerful and subtler, exciting and soothing. To say their sound
is sumptuous and breathtaking is an understatement in the extreme."

Ultimate PX Series
The U-1PX not only incorporates Sound
Lab's latest electrostatic panel and electronic technologies, it also
incorporates a massive steel frame to protect and preserve the critical
tolerances of the panel. The heavy duty frame employs three-inch diameter steel
support posts that are solidly connected together with 1/2" thick
steel brackets. The reactive mass of the framework eliminates frame
vibrations, thus eliminating frame resonance and insuring that all sonic energy
is converted to music.

Audiophile PX Series
The A-1PX and the A-3PX take much of the technology found in
the U-1PX and wrap it in sumptuous hardwoods.
In the words of reviewer Dick Olsher:
"The A-1 is about elevating
reproduced music to the level of the live experience, ... that they succeed to
this extent is a miracle that every audiophile should experience at least once
in his or her lifetime, ... they've got me excited about music like never
before"
In the words of reviewer J. Gordon Holt about the A-3:
"Never in my life have I lived
with a speaker that has brought, and continues to bring, as much pleasure,
excitement, and satisfaction. In short, I am madly, passionately in love
with their sound..."

Millennium PX Series
The intent of the Millennium series is to provide an aesthetic
that's more contemporary with a softer visual impact More
specifically, the.M-1PX, is technically identical to the
A-1PX. No physical or acoustical compromise has been made in
it's design. and manufacture.
The M-1PX has adequate radiating area to perform well in
virtually any size room, even in smaller rooms.
|
|
The M-2PX
carries the
contemporary aesthetic of the Millennium series in a smaller size. The M-2PX is
technically identical to the A-3PX in all aspects with the exception of
appearance
The M-2PX is intended for moderately-sized rooms having a
spatial volume on the order of 3600 cubic feet. However, acoustically
speaking, there's no room too small, and they will perform quite well even in
larger rooms.
|
M-2PX
|
|
M-3PX is of the
same quality as that of the larger versions. The only technical
difference is that the radiating area of the panel has been reduced in
order to better fit the decor of smaller listening rooms.
The M-3PX provides the true-to-life
presence and sonic purity that only a full-range electrostatic speaker can
deliver, doing so in a smaller package. Nonetheless, the M-3PX
performs surprisingly well even in larger rooms.

The DynaStat joins a PX electrostatic panel with a polypropylene
woofer, providing Sound Lab quality sound in a smaller size and price. The
slotted-port woofer loading delivers extended, powerful bass that eliminates the
need of an external sub-woofer. Whether your application is a serious
music system or a high-end home theater system, the DynaStat delivers satisfaction.
The Marquee, a hybrid
full-range center channel speaker, and the MiniStat
hybrid surround speaker both deliver musical magic in a compact
size. These speakers provide superb clarity and detail due to the use
of electrostatic tweeters. Astonishing bass response is achieved using Sound
Lab's unique slotted-port woofer technology. Auto-bias, an available
option, eliminates the need of connecting the speaker to an AC outlet.
This option uses a miniscule amount of the audio signal to produce a stable,
regulated bias potential.
The WallStat is essentially a
flat version of the MiniStat and is designed to mount flush with a wall or to hang
on a wall.. The WallStat employs an eight inch diameter
high-performance woofer for greater dynamic range in the lower frequency
region. Auto-bias is an available option that eliminates the need of
connecting the speaker to an AC outlet. This option uses a miniscule
amount of the audio signal to produce a stable regulated bias potential.

SALLIE is an acronym that
stands for "Sonic Attenuator for Lower Levels
of Interference Effects". Dipole speakers, such as
Sound Lab's full-range electrostatic speakers, radiate equal energy from the
back side of the panel. Under some circumstances, this can result in an
undesirable condition referred to as the comb-filtering effect. The SALLIE
easily and inexpensively eliminates this effect.
