Technically speaking, it is due in part to the super-low mass of the membrane coupled with an iso-phasically applied driving force that evenly and uniformly moves every square inch of the membrane at the same time. Furthermore, there is only one transducing surface encompassing the entire audio spectrum, preserving the critical temporal relationships of the original music.
