The WallStat is designed to fit flush within a wall. Thus, the only part
of a WallStat that occupies a room is its amazing sound. This provides
several benefits such as the decor of a room isn't impacted by the presence of
the speaker and, in home theater applications, the lack of the physical presence
of the speakers in the room eliminates a visual distraction, which helps to
focus attention on video action. Alternatively, the WallStat can be hung
on a wall like a picture.
The shallow enclosure depth of the WallStat does not create any acoustical
compromises. In fact, the high-performance 8" diameter woofer
employed in the WallStat provides amazing dynamic range. The
electrostatic tweeters provide clear sparkling full-spectrum sound within the
entire wide dispersion range. Every seat in the room is in the "sweet
spot".
As standard, the WallStat has separate input terminals for both the woofer
and tweeter systems. These terminals come with straps that parallel the
input terminals for single-amplifier operation. However, the straps are
easily removed if it is desired to bi-amp or bi-wire the inputs.
The auto-bias option eliminates the need of running AC wires for the bias
power supply, which simplifies installation
